Why Choose The Pelvic Connection

10 Reasons to
Work With Me

When you're dealing with unrelenting symptoms, choosing a provider can be daunting — especially given the wide range of experience and skillsets out there. Many patients who come to our practice have tried PT elsewhere before finding us, or were told that PT doesn't work for their symptoms. I'm here to change that narrative.

Reason 01

Expert care

Pelvic conditions are often complex and require specialized care. I bring 10+ years of experience treating complex pelvic health conditions, with double board certification in orthopedic and pelvic health. I also have advanced training in:

  • Manual therapy (tissue, nerve, and joint mobilization)
  • Visceral manipulation
  • Craniosacral therapy
  • Somatic Experiencing
  • Sexuality counseling

This allows me to approach your condition from multiple angles — not just one.

Reason 02

One-on-one, fully individualized care

No overlap. No rushing between patients. No handing you off to aides, assistants, or students. Every session is designed specifically for you, your body, and your goals — and you have my complete attention throughout.

Reason 03

I treat the reason behind the symptoms, not just the symptoms

Pelvic symptoms — whether urgency, pain, leakage, or weakness — are rarely isolated. Chasing symptoms can only provide temporary relief, not a long-term solution. We work through several phases together, not only to relieve your immediate symptoms but to make sure they don't return.

Reason 04

My approach is whole-body, not pelvic-floor-only

Your pelvis does not function in isolation… ever. I look at how your nervous system, movement patterns, habits, and life context all interact with and impact your symptoms, and I integrate orthopedic, visceral, and neuromuscular work to create lasting change.

Reason 05

A quiet and private space

You won't be treated in a tight space separated by a curtain. My office is in a quiet suite — no overhearing other conversations, no traffic noise, no sounds of people working out in a gym next door. You won't be doing pelvic floor exercises with other patients in the room. The space is designed specifically for pelvic health.

Reason 06

I help regulate your nervous system, not just your muscles

This is one of the key things often missed in typical PT treatments. Many pelvic conditions are driven by an overactive or dysregulated nervous system — and breathing exercises alone are not the be-all and end-all of nervous system regulation. Drawing from my training in Somatic Experiencing, I incorporate a range of techniques that help your body shift out of a constant "on alert" state, which can stress the entire pelvic region — muscles, fascia, ligaments, and organs alike.

Reason 07

You learn how your body works (and how to change it)

I prioritize education so you're not dependent on my treatment. You'll understand your symptoms and what drives them, and you'll gain practical tools you can use for life.

Reason 08

I don't believe in cookie-cutter protocols

No generic Kegels. No random pelvic floor stretches. No one-size-fits-all programs — they don't work for pelvic floor issues. Your treatment evolves based on how your body responds, and I'm tracking that constantly as we work together.

Reason 09

We offer more than just biofeedback

You'll always receive state-of-the-art, evidence-based treatment at The Pelvic Connection. I offer real-time ultrasound for biofeedback, so you can actually see your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles moving — instead of trying to interpret graphs on an antiquated machine. I also offer balloon manometry for treatment of constipation, as well as electrical stimulation for pelvic floor strengthening (when appropriate).

Reason 10

This is an investment in long-term change, not temporary relief

My goal isn't just to manage your symptoms — it's to change how your system functions and build resilience, so you can return to your life with confidence and get back to all the things you love doing.

Pelvic health is for everyone — and you deserve care that sees all of you, not just your symptoms.
